I am a freelance journalist and MA Global Financial Journalism student at City University, London.

As a recent journalism, film and media graduate, I know my way around the industry.

Currently, I am working as a Social Media Researcher on BBC Question Time and Debate Night. I have also previously worked in broadcast journalism and interned in a publishing house.

I am a multimedia storyteller. I am skilled in using print, online publications, audio, video or social media.

I am currently specialising in global financial and political stories. For my final journalism project at Stirling, I travelled to Turkey to investigate societal, economic and political changes under the current government.

I have Turkish parents and grew up in Germany as an immigrant child. Later, I decided to move to Scotland for my undergraduate degree. I am fluent in German, Turkish and English. Moreover, I have experience working in all of those languages and countries.

I have a true passion for current affairs and global happenings. Particularly, the Middle East fascinates me.
